A final gloss varnish which should only be used when an oil painting has been left to dry for at least 6 months. However when applied lightly by aerosol it makes an excellent retouching varnish.

Modern general purpose gloss varnish is non-yellowing and can be used as a final varnish for oil painting when the picture has been dry for at least 6 months. Removable with turpentine or white spirit. It dries to a clear even gloss which is non-blooming.
