Enver Gürsev is a professional artist, working primarily as a painter and sculptor.
Born in Stoke Newington, London 1968, he has a very long and diverse experience working within the arts. Enver’s first brush with the creative sector was painting pub signs at the age of 15 moving on to designing record covers and posters for punk and Indy bands. As a fledgling artist he was mentored by the late Sir Eduardo Paolozzi, after which he went on to graduate from Camberwell College of Arts. He has since exhibited extensively and worked in collaboration with other progressive artists nationally and internationally.
In addition to his visual art practice, Enver is a musician; drummer and percussionist. He was recently awarded the prestigious ‘Centenary Collection’ and ‘Project Delphi’ artwork commissions from BP Shipping, of which, he is lead artist and project manager.
Enver has been an associate lecturer at Chelsea College of Arts since 2006.
He lives and works in South London.
